Sander Weitkamp is working at TenneT as a digital advisor for the project and maintenance organization. A company that is challenged with an immense workload in the upcoming years due to the energy transition. Sander started as a project manager and within this role he discovered the potential of digitalization and the issues when not introducing it properly. He believes the foundations of digitalization are essential for success, so an intelligent data architecture based on interoperability is the basis for successful digitalization within TenneT. In 2020 Sander was the program manager of the EU303 framework contract which included the linked data development team.
