Robert David (m, born 1976) studied Software Engineering & Internet Computing and Informatikmanagement at the Technical University of Vienna. He wrote his master thesis on the reengineering of web applications using architectural approaches, in which he developed methods to transform legacy systems into modern web applications. Robert continued his career as a software engineer to develop distributed systems and web applications in domains such as AAL (Ambient Assisted Living), Healthcare and image archiving systems. In 2014 he joined Semantic Web Company as a software developer with focus on Python, Java and web development, as well as on data management solutions as ETL, data conversion, data linking, reasoning and triple store technologies making use of RDF, SPARQL and other W3C semantic web standards. Since 2015 he is leading the PoolParty development team and is responsible for product development and quality assurance of the PoolParty Semantic Suite. Since 2017 he is CTO of the Semantic Web Company. He also participates in european research projects coordinating the strategic development of product components using research results.
