These activities can easily take more than 70% of the effort required to put your KG in production. Familiarity with the available ontologies, datasets and software tools is a key factor to increase reuse and optimize these efforts.

This tutorial will focus on the creation of knowledge graphs serving a wide variety of use-cases in the financial services industry. The focus will be on how to create a KG by using:

• FIBO (Financial Industry Business Ontology) as an ontology;
• GLEI (Global Legal Entities Identifier), LCC (Locations, Currencies and Codes) as reference data;
• Transactional data from NASDAQ;
• Text Analytics APIs;
• GraphDB as an RDF triplestore
